Our right to defend ourselves and also that of our families is an enshrined right. The 2nd Amendment protects an individual’s right to bear arms — this right does not pertain to just militias. Common sense Gun Control means that we support policies that target the criminal use of guns. Many gun control measures target law-abiding citizens and leave the citizens defenseless against criminals who do not follow the laws. Guns by themselves are not dangerous. But guns in the hands of dangerous people are dangerous. I will defend my, and your right to lawfully keep and bear arms.
