Perry Township Board Member – District 1

My name is Jim Sullivan and I am appealing to you for your support as I seek to be re-elected to the Perry Township Board District 1. I am a long-term Perry Township resident who has lived, worked, worshiped, and raised my family in the heart of Perry Township.

As a fellow republican who is actively engaged with our party and community, I know that your values are my values. We share the same vision and the same orientation towards the problem we face in our community.

What you need to know about me is that I am a committed, authentic, and sincere conservative voice who will do three things…guide, advocate, and protect. I will continue to guide the Perry Township Trustee in matters important for the people of our township. I will advocate for the people of Perry Township on issues and concerns that impact our lives. I will protect the constitution, and the core values that have made Perry Township a wonderful place to live, work, and raise our families.

Perry Township is your local government and I am proud to have had the honor and privilege to serve our citizens as a Board member. I believe that the government closest to the people serves the people best. I want to keep serving you.

As I write this letter, I want you to know that am mindful of the fact that we find ourselves at a difficult time in our nation. Governments on all levels are in uncharted territory as we collectively work to halt the spread of the COVID-19 virus. It is therefore important to remember that the burdens of our citizens will fall first on the local level governments like Perry Township. This is why the need for qualified, thoughtful, responsible, and experienced leadership from our government is very important now. Change at this time is not desirable. As a board member, I want to assure you that I, along with my fellow board members, stand ready to continue to serve you.

• Diligently working to advise the Trustee on matters of financial management and capital expenditures.
• Continuing to support the mission of the Trustee to provide emergency and short term assistance to the less fortunate and needy of Perry Township.
• Working to support and advise the Perry Township Courts as they too, provide a vital and essential service for our Perry Township citizens.
• Working to keep taxes low, reduce waste, and improve efficiencies in our government.
• Standing up for the U.S. Constitution, defending the rights of all Americans, born and unborn.

We have an election on June 2, 2020 where choices must be made. These choices that will impact our lives. I believe our government should reflect our values, which is why I need your support. Now is the time for Republicans to stand together and speak out as one voice and support our Republican office holders up and down the ballot. Vote for Jim Sullivan on Ballot Number 61 B.
